Who is Ariel Farthing?
I am married to my wonderful husband, Diego, and we have a hilarious kiddo, 8, named Jacob. I've always had an entrepreneurial spirit about me - never stayed long at a 9-5 job.
In less than three sentences tell us about your company and what you do.
I am a mobile spray tanning company. I go to my client's homes and spray tan them in the comfort of their own home where they can develop and not have to worry about anything! I am all about building relationships and bringing confidence to other women.
What does BEING a FoundHer mean to you?
Being a FoundHer to me means being able to support my family while still having time freedom. The ability to make my own schedule and being there for my sons after school activities means the world to me. Being able to support my husband from home is so amazing. I am able to do all this because of Mermaid Glow Co.!
How do you support other female founders and women in business?
Community over competition.
What lesson or skill did you take with you from a prior job to help you succeed in your role today?
Building relationships!! I firmly believe that building relationships within your business will help you retain business.
How did you land your first client?
By asking!! I had no idea what I was doing but I simply just ASKED if they wanted a spray tan, and they said yes!!
