S2. Ep. 181 FoundHer Files: How to Connect with Your Community

lindsay pinchuk

I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around dropping content right now where everything seems fine and dandy. The world just isn’t and so many of you are asking for help with your marketing, content and social media during this time. So today we’re going to talk about connecting with your community, and what happens when you do.

If you haven’t listened to last week’s episode about the importance of messaging during a crisis, take a listen, it's a great compliment to today’s conversation. Listen Here

Today you're going to hear what happened on my social media over the last few weeks. In the last 30 days, I've lost 411 followers, but guess what? I've gained 890.

And on Instagram:

  • Reach is up 261%

  • Content interactions are up 126%

  • Story interactions are up 800%

  • Impressions are up 308%---over 600K impressions.

  • Most important: I've reached nearly 300% more NON-FOLLOWERS

What does this tell you? It tells you this:

When you speak up, you CONNECT with people.

When you speak up, your community engages.

When you speak up, your community and your customers---they will remember this forever.

So today we're going to go back to the basics of your brand marketing, your brand strategy, content strategy and I'll share six things that you can do right now to create content that connects with your community.
