Who is Danielle Barich?

Spanning over 10 years in the luxury event space, Danielle has perfected a unique discernment for sensory experiences and their intrinsic necessity to each brand story. In 2019 she launched her own boutique consulting firm focusing solely on female entrepreneurship.
Since her move to Paris in 2020, she has since broadened her love of sensory work into retail-specific marketing, web3 and creative consulting, and is now one of the few women pioneering sensory branding in the every-evolving tech space. Her work has recently lead to collaborations with Bioderma, Ledger, Métier Creative, Monique Lhuillier, Oribe, Stay Here and Wild Element. She is currently filming a television series with Canadian network Bell Media and was most recently named Web3 Development Director for Hennessy Cognac.

In less than three sentences tell us about your company and what you do.

Elevating brands through sensory strategy.

How do you support other female founders and women in business?

There's a famous quote about having the kind of women around you who will speak wonderfully about you and cheer you on, when you're out of the room. I am to be this kind of woman, whether it's supporting colleagues in business, life or both. Rising tides raise all ships ;)

What lesson or skill did you take with you from a prior job to help you succeed in your role today?

Wedding Planning! Nothing like crisis management with a smile... and everything in business is some kind of event.

What is something you do differently from the industry standard?

I believe I make a focus of things people easily forget, when it comes to creating a successful brand. I like to mention that it's easy to be sensorily engaged on a trip to Italy - smelling espresso, tasting pasta, touching Italian leather shoes or soaking up the visual beauty of an ancient city... but brands deserve the same. We so unconsciously connect around smells, ambiance, vibe - there is immense power in our senses to elevate a brand, and my work is structured around the very minute (but critical!) aspects of such.
Is there anything else that you would like for us to know about you and your business to share with our community?

I'm simply honoured to be considered, and delighted to connect with such a fabulous group of pioneering women.

What does BEING a FoundHer mean to you?

It means making bold and daring choices, soul contracts and big leaps that will hopefully inspire other women to do the same.
