Who is Jill Lawlor?

My journey began with a degree in Visual Communication, where I learned to merge design with business and marketing. My career has woven through roles as a lead graphic designer and positions with the Detroit Tigers and Chicago Cubs, enriching my approach to design with diverse experiences. Today, I'm dedicated to crafting brand identities that tell compelling stories, ensuring they resonate deeply with audiences.

Jill Lawlor Creative, a boutique brand identity studio, is renowned for elevating small businesses with distinctive logos and user-friendly websites. The studio seamlessly blends graphic design with strategic business insights. Specializing in unique, honest branding that sets businesses apart, Jill Lawlor Creative is more than a design studio – it’s a place where stories are told through compelling visual narratives.

What does BEING a FoundHer mean to you?

It means channeling my passion, experience and knowledge into creating services that empower other small businesses chase their dreams of entrepreneurship.

How do you support other female founders and women in business?

Making connections, shopping local, following/sharing/commenting on social media, referrals, and sharing best practices and resources.

At what point did you make your company a full time gig? How did you know the time was right?

When my youngest daughter started school full time. I knew this is all I’ve ever wanted to do with my career and I went for it.
